Check the prevailing Dew Point in your Area. If the Dew Point is 55 Degrees or more Evaporative Cooling will not work to its potential. We do not shut them off if that is the only cooling available, however, they will just not keep you as comfortable as you would prefer. To find the Dew Point in your area click on your favorite weather site and put in your City and State for present readings.
